Associate Professor Tillman Boesel is Medical Director and co-founder of Sydney Pain Centres. Tillman a leading Interventional Pain Specialist. After undergraduate medical education in Adelaide, he trained in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Royal Prince Alfred and Nepean Hospitals. He worked as a staff specialist in the Nepean Hospital Pain Unit from 2006 to 2011 before entering private practice. Together with his co-founder Tony Merritt, he has built one of Australia’s largest private group pain practices. He is a committed medical educator, with appointments at Macquarie University and as a Faculty of Pain Medicine Fellowship Examiner. Tillman has worked in Western Sydney for the majority of his career and is a passionate advocate for the people of the region.
