Dr Andrew Paterson graduated from medicine at the University of Sydney in 2000, and thereafter did his internship and Residency at Wollongong Hospital. He undertook his anaesthetic training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney and completed his Anaesthetic and Pain Fellowships at Concord Repatriation General Hospitals. He completed his Anaesthetic Fellowship in 2011, and gained his Fellowship in Pain Medicine in 2013. Dr Paterson is a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) in Pain Medicine in Macquarie University Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and Chris O’Brian Lifehouse in Camperdown.
Dr Paterson’s area of interest are Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CPRS), spinal pain and complex acute pain management, with an emphasis on interventional and multidisciplinary pain management.
